We offer limited in-person previews by appointment for lots with a low estimate of $1,000 or greater. Please contact us to schedule an appointment.
Where can I bid?
Rock Auction Gallery hosts it's auctions on HiBid, LiveAuctioneers, Invaluable, and our own site. A link to the accepted bidding platforms will be advertised at the time of auction announcement.

What are the pickup and shipping terms?
Lots must be picked up within 3 days of an auctions close. Please see our Upcoming Auctions page for more detailed information on pickup dates for specific auctions. Rock Auction Gallery cannot guarantee help loading your purchases.
Shipment for eligible lots must be arranged within 3 days of an auction's close. We are happy to work with your third-party shipping team or carrier. Please see our more extensive list of shipping questions on this page below.
Can I place absentee bids?
If you are unable to attend the auction online, you may fill out our Absentee Bid Form and Rock Auction Gallery will bid competitively on your behalf.
Can I place phone bids?
If you are unable to attend the auction online, you may request a phone bid. During the auction, a Rock Auction Gallery representative will call you and place bids at your discretion. Generally, phone bids are reserved for those items with a low estimate of at least $1,000.
What are your terms of sale?
Registration and bidding at Rock Auction Gallery constitutes an acceptance of our terms of sale. Please contact the auction house at 815-299-7625 with any questions.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Rock Auction Gallery accepts cash and all major credit cards. Additional payment options may be available depending on your bidding platform.
Can I consign with Rock Auction Gallery?
We are always taking quality consignments locally and nationally. Please see our "Consign With Us" page for details.
What is my item worth?
We are happy to give you a fair appraisal of your item prior to signing the consignment terms. Please contact us for details.
As a consignor, do I have to sell my items at auction?
We offer multiple consignment options depending on our client's needs and the value of the consignment. Certain items may be eligible for sale in our gallery prior to being put up for auction. Please contact us for details.
Will you ship my items?
For items won during an auction, shipping terms will be stated in the details prior to the opening bid. Rock Auction Gallery cannot guarantee that every auction will be shipped. Please read the details prior to bidding.
For items that are eligible for shipping, we can offer shipping on winning lots in the order they are paid for. We ship with USPS and UPS according to their safe packaging guidelines. All items are insured for the full value of your winning bid.
If you have a third-party carrier, packer, or shipping service please let us know and we would be happy to hand the items off to them. Rock Auction Gallery is not responsible for items after the auction closes. You are responsible for your purchases.
Do you ship freight?
Rock Auction Gallery employs a full-service freighting and staging team to prepare larger items for travel. We offer crating and palletizing service of most larger purchases at cost to the buyer. Oversized items (back bars, sectionals, architectural salvage, etc.) may not be eligible for freight shipping and will need to be carried privately.

Can I pick my items up or have them picked up?
Absolutely. Please contact our team following the close of the auction to arrange pickup. You will need a government-issued ID or drivers license. Please note, pickups must be arranged in a timely manner. Rock Auction Gallery is not responsible for your auction winnings after the close of the auction.
